Running

Science

As a PhD student at University of Colorado Boulder, I've been studying Antarctic toothfish and the methods used for aging these fish. Commercially sold as Chilean seabass, they are important (and beautiful) members of the Southern Ocean ecosystem.

I'm also studying the UN Plastics Pollution treaty negotiations and how fishing gear will be incorporated into the treaty.

As an undergraduate at Princeton, I fell in love with coral ecology. I researched how tiny crevices in the reef act as refuges for juvenile coral.
