still analog

Hi friends!
It's been a minute. I've been schooling and running, and still working with Patagonia and La Sportiva. While my race season has been quiet (in some ways I'm still recovering from Bhutan), my life has felt full and rich.
Especially full because I'm 21 weeks pregnant! In layman's terms, halfway there. LT, the world's best baby daddy, and I are settling in to our new normal, which is basically like before, I'm just getting rounder and slower. But I can still run and am oh-so-grateful.
This year looks different from our initial 2025 plans, but it feels like we're starting the coolest ultra. I'm meditating on my changing body and still moving a lot. I'm lucky running still feels fun. Not to mention, I've felt so supported by my friends, family and advisor. I live for the day-to-day in a way I never though possible a few years ago and it feels so good. Amid the chaos of the news, this daily focus is grounding.
While most of my writing hides in coursework and papers in-review, I'm still scribbling away.
Now that the cat's out of the bag, I aim to share more of my pregnancy ultra. It's far from Auburn and Chamonix, but feels bigger and weirder than running a 100 has ever felt. We'll see!

A belated thanks to Dylan Bowman for the lovely chat in Feburary.
Sending hugs from 21 weeks!
